Get the most out of OrinLink

Advanced guide

Four quick tips for better speed and more control.

1

⚙️ Config vs Proxy mode

Most apps offer two routing modes:

Proxy (global): all traffic goes through OrinLink. Simplest — everything is protected.

Config (rule-based): rules decide what uses OrinLink and what goes direct. Faster daily, but depends on the config.

Something won't load? Switch to Proxy mode to test.

🔄 Refresh your subscription

Your link is live, not a one-time file. Tap “Update” to refresh:

• Bandwidth used / remaining
• Expiry date
• Active nodes & locations

We rotate servers when a node drops — a refresh restores healthy ones.

Slow or dropped? Refresh first — the fastest fix.
3

📍 Choosing a location

Golden rule: the closer the node, the lower your ping and the faster your speed.

In Asia? Nearby nodes (Japan, Korea, Singapore) are usually fastest. Far nodes work but add ping.

Try a few nearby nodes; keep the fastest.

📝 Editable configs

Config-mode rules live in a file you can edit or replace. Communities share ready-made configs (GitHub, X) to import.

A good config fine-tunes what uses OrinLink vs. direct — the best speed and coverage for you.

Only load configs from sources you trust.
